Ishta Mala “A Simple practice for life”
2hr advances beginner to intermediate student.
ISHTA, a Sanskrit word which means that which we desire and love the most. Our Ishta is basically our connection with ourselves, our daily inspiration that connects us to our natural state of wholeness, where we are one with everything and there is no separation. This is the Yoga.
MALA, a Sanskrit word that means garland.
Like the beads of a yoga mala the breath is the thread connecting beads(or postures) to one another.
Ishta Mala inspired by Patanjali Ashtanga Yoga is a Vinyasa Krama sequence, designed to meet you at the very heart of your yoga practice. It’s a meditation in practice and once memorized becomes a practice for life. It’s adaptable to suit every individual and enables the student to move inward and tap into their own therapy.
Be ready to enjoy a moderate practice helping to cleanse and purify the body from the inside as well as helping to bring calmness and clarity to the mind.
Props and modifications always available to students.
